We’re an Australian family of four seeking freedom, adventure, and meaningful experiences. Travel has always been a big part of our lives, but once we had children, we knew we wanted to raise them with a love of learning that stretched far beyond the walls of a classroom.
As an experienced teacher, Michelle felt a strong pull to educate our children in a way that encouraged curiosity, independence, and connection with the world. Homeschooling gave us that freedom — suddenly, we weren’t tied to a rigid school calendar. We could take our learning wherever we went, following interests, diving deeper into real-life experiences, and exploring new cultures as a family.
With the world as our classroom, our worldschooling edventure began. From history lessons among ancient ruins, to science in rainforests and oceans, to maths through currency and travel planning, our kids are learning every day in ways that feel meaningful and alive.
The world is such an amazingly diverse place, and we believe everyone can learn from it. Through our journey, we hope to inform and inspire other families to see what’s possible when education and travel come together. Whether you’re curious about worldschooling, thinking about homeschooling, or simply love the idea of meaningful family travel, we’re here to share our experiences, resources, and insights to help you along the way.
