We are an Australian family of four craving freedom, adventure and meaningful experiences. We love learning about new places, meeting new people and exploring the beautiful planet we call home. Yes, we did the study, career & house thing and it was nice, however the yearning for freedom and adventure kept calling!
We wholeheartedly believe “home is where the heart is” so as long as we are together, we are home. Here we share our adventures around the world while we educate our children, to inspire other families to do the same. The world is such an amazingly diverse place that we can all learn from. Our hope is to inform and inspire others to do what we do, so you too can see the benefits of travelling the world with your kids.
Follow our edventures to see how we incorporate learning into our travels. It really can be easy to do, although requires some creativity and organisation! Children learn and retain information that is meaningful to them. Reading and learning information at school from books or the internet is fine, but it’s not always relevant to them. When our kids travel they are immersed in new experiences, hence they retain their new learnings. It’s the best way for all of us to learn!
